Be with Jesus

Doing life around a table

The New Testament word koinonia means a shared life together. We believe one of the primary ways we become like Jesus is through authentic community: gathering around tables, sharing meals, opening Scripture, praying for one another, and walking through every season of life together. Life Groups are where strangers become friends and friends become family.

Because God himself exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in loving relationship, we were created for community too. Being with Jesus often means being with his people, learning to love, serve, encourage, and grow alongside one another as members of his Body.

Community is how we become a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and multi-socioeconomic family of God, living into the vision John saw in Revelation: every tribe, tongue, people, and nation gathered around and worshiping Jesus. As we share life together, God forms us into a people marked by love, unity, and belonging.
