Believe in Jesus
At its heart, the Christian life is an invitation to place our full confidence in Jesus and to be shaped by his vision of reality.
Throughout history, followers of Jesus have held to what is often called the Rule of Faith, a simple summary of the Christian story passed down through the generations. The Apostles’ Creed is one of the clearest expressions of that faith and has helped Christians stay rooted in the way of Jesus for centuries.
The Apostles Creed
We, Anthem Church Northwest, confess the historic Nicene Creed, which has been unifying all Christians for many centuries:
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father [and the Son], who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy [universal] and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

What if there’s more to life than what we can see?
Come and See is a six-week journey into some of the most important questions people ask about God, faith, and the way of Jesus. Whether you’re exploring Christianity for the first time, returning after time away, or simply looking for a place to ask honest questions, this series is for you.
Together, we’ll explore who Jesus is, how faith begins and grows, how to pray, the role of the Holy Spirit, why the Bible matters, and whether God still heals today. No pressure. No assumptions. Just an invitation to come, listen, ask questions, and discover the life Jesus offers.
Come & See
Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo project. It’s always been a shared journey. Over four weeks, we’ll reimagine what it means to be the people of God at Anthem Church.
To believe in Jesus is to trust truth that is revealed, not invented. To be with Jesus is to belong in covenant community. To become like Jesus is to resist the world’s formation and embrace transformation. To do what Jesus did is to serve and send with radical hospitality.
This is the call of discipleship. This is the life of the church. And this is our invitation: to fully become like Jesus—together.

Jesus said that his sheep know his voice. But what does that actually look like in everyday life?
This series explores the gift of prophecy and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit among God’s people. Together, we’ll learn how to listen for God’s voice, discern his leading, practice prophecy in healthy and biblical ways, and grow in wisdom as we test and weigh what we hear. We’ll finish with a Q&R focused on spiritual gifts and life in the Spirit.
